An Open Letter to the First and Only Girl Band I Stan

I remember those late nights..

Those late nights where I and the fandom would just tweet and tweet and make a certain hashtag trend. And by the way, we did make it to the no. 1 trending spot mostly. We would tweet about comebacks. We would tweet about full album releases. We would tweet about birthdays. We would tweet about music video releases. We would tweet about anything related to them. We were tweeting as one. The sleepless nights, headaches, and dark circles were all worth it. The happiness they brought in my life compares to none. I mean no ever group would tantamount to them.

Have I told you that I can write their name in Korean? I memorized their birthdays, the month-year-date kind of thing. I was not an average fangirl, am I?

I always wonder on what it would be like to see you in person…

I always daydream about meeting you. I am so envious of the fans in Korea that would get to meet you by accident. Life really is so cruel but sweet at the same time, aye? There are so many bands here in the Philippines but my heart only wants you. Such a fate!

But that kind of logic did not stop me from wondering. Instead, it made me strengthen my desire to meet you one-day up close.

I was so happy to own a signed merchandise…

I saw a page on Twitter called KPOP GURU and it gave signed merchandise to fans who would upload contents that are eye-candy. So one day, I happen to stumble a post from them saying that they will give a signed CD of the girls and in an instant, I signed myself.

I asked help from a friend to capture pictures of me just so I can win the merchandise. I did draw! HAHA! I did not know that I have that skill. I always always asked my dad to draw the things that my teacher wanted me to draw. I really did not know that I have it in me. Maybe, I should pursue that! (HAH!)

Anyways, I asked help from my FB Friends to like the picture and comment something because duh! engagement mattered to them.

Announcement of the winner came and drum rolls… I DID WIN! I was so happy. SO SO HAPPY!!!!

It was one of the many highlights that girls gave to me.
