25 Things To DO At Home When Bored
I know. I really know. That’s why I am curating this list of things to do when bored at home.
25 Things to Do at Home when Bored
1. Create a Photo Collage
The best way to preserve memories in one picture is by doing a collage. Be it virtually or reality.
When you opt for the virtual one, I have an absolute favorite website that gives a really good quality images when printed out and that’s PHOTOBOOKPH.
If you wanna do it by yourself (DIY), there are so many tutorials in youtube that teaches you how to put designs for your collage.
2. Organize Your Closet
This is not a one-time thing if we wanna really organize it by category be it color, fashion theme or purpose of use. Or maybe, change your closet to a walk-in one. This is a really pain in the ass kind of thing to do if we are not into it but this really gives a sense of positivity in ourselves.
Based on my experience, a plastic box or any box might help you in the long run. Be sure to have one.
3. Free Up Your Phone Space
Android phones are so hard to empty storage manually. One wrong move and it might delete important systems in the phone and will lead to problems in the future. And if we don’t remove unimportant files, it may lead to a slow phone or a lagging one.
Good thing some phones have built-in apps that in just one click, can help free space in our phones. But, when it comes to photos and videos ,which most of the time takes so much of space, we really have to do it manually.
This might be the sign to let go memories of people in your past and let them be in the past so your phone can finally get what it deserves. *wink*
4. Phone a Friend
Friends are a step closer to a therapist. Well, atleast for me.
If we have nothing to do, this might be a great time to catch up to people that we hold dear. I promise you that they will super appreciate that little gesture.
5. Netflix Watch Party
I just recently found out that Netflix Party is a new way to watch Netflix with our friends online. It’s a third-party Chrome browser extension that allows up to 50 people to watch anything on Netflix together. Netflix Party synchronizes video playback and adds group chat to our favorite Netflix shows so we’re all watching the same thing at the same time from our individual accounts
Downside is that the Netflix Party extension only works on laptop and desktop computers, both Macs and PCs
6. Exercise
This has been one of my therapy and boredom prevention during COVID-19 pandemic quarantine days here in the Philippines last March 2020. It helped me get back on track with my desired weight and thanks to Keto too.
Exercise definitely gives us endorphins which triggers a positive feeling in the body or gives us happiness which is a really satisfying reward that everyone needs during this trying times.
7. Check out Life Hack Videos on YouTube
Have you ever had that feeling of being dumb because we just do things in a hard way when there is a simpler way f doing it? I do! It also gives me a good laugh at myself but atleast I have learn something from it.
A youtube channel called 5-Minute Crafts has so many Do-It-Yourself Tutorials on Life Hacks that will definitely amaze you as it amaze me so many times. Just be careful though when doing dangerous stuffs.
8. Play Video Games
One of my favorite pastime long before COVID-19 Pandemic existed. Thanks to my dad who introduced me and my brother to it. I remember it clearly that we own a playstation one and there is a particular game that strikes me most up to now and that is “Tomb Raider”. I really love games that has female leads.
We can easily play anything online nowadays thru our cellular phones and connect to our online friends as easy as 1 2 3.
