How to Get to Mico’s Eco Park Ormoc

OPTION 1 (BY JEEPNEY/MULTICAB)

Entry Point is in ORMOC PORT.

CHECK FAST CRAFT SCHEDULE & FARE HERE

  • From the port, walk to Ormoc City Terminal near the Ormoc Public Market/2go Express ticketing.
  • Then, ride a jeepney/multicab bound for Lake Danao. Be sure to inform the driver that you will hop off at Mico’s Eco Park. Fare is PHP 30 ( SGD$ 0.75 ,US$ 0.6, € 0.5).
  • Note: There is tarpaulin signage at Mico’s Eco Park.

(HOMEBOUND)

  • Wait for a jeepney/multicab in the area or ride a habal-habal.
  • Note: Multi-cabs are available for a certain period of time so you can wait for multi-cabs.

OPTION 2 (BY BOAT W/ BUS/VAN)

Entry Point is in CEBU PIER 4 via HILONGOS

CHECK FAST CRAFT SCHEDULE & FARE HERE

  • From Pier 4, ride the Slow Boats (Roble Shipping Lines or Gabisan Lines) & Fast Boat (MV Superjoy) bound for Hilongos. Fare is about PHP 310.00 ( SGD$ 6.89, US$ 6.2, € 5.17) – PHP 2,000.00 ( SGD$ 44.45, US$ 40, € 33.33) for Slow Boats and PHP 550.00 ( SGD$ 12.23, US$ 11, € 9.17) for Fast Boats/Crafts. Travel Time is about 5-6 hours for the slow boats and 2-3 hours for the fast boat.
  • Then walk or ride a motorcycle to Hilongos Public Terminal.
  • At the Market/Terminal, ride a bus/van to Ormoc. Travel Time is about 2 hours and 30 minutes. Fare is PHP 200.00 – PHP 350.00 ( SGD$ 5.00 ,US$ 4.0, € 3.33) – ( SGD$ 8.75 ,US$ 7.0, € 5.83).
  • Once you reached Ormoc Terminal, ride a jeepney/multicab bound for Lake Danao. Be sure to inform the driver that you will hop off at Mico’s Eco Park. Fare is PHP 30 ( SGD$ 0.75 ,US$ 0.6, € 0.5). Travel time is about 20 minutes.
  • Note: There is tarpaulin signage at Mico’s Eco Park.

(HOMEBOUND)

  • Wait for any bus/van in the area or ride a habal-habal/motorcycle.
  • Note: You can arrange for your motorcycle driver to wait for you so that you won’t have a hard time going out of the area.

OPTION 3 (BY BOAT W/ BUS/VAN)

Entry Point is in CEBU PIER 4 via BAYBAY.

CHECK FAST CRAFT SCHEDULE & FARE HERE

  • From Pier 4, ride the Slow Boats (RORO Ferries) & Fast Boat (MV Superjoy) bound for Hilongos. Fare is about PHP 310.00 ( SGD$ 6.89, US$ 6.2, € 5.17) – PHP 2,000.00 ( SGD$ 44.45, US$ 40, € 33.33) for Slow Boats and PHP 580.00 ( SGD$ 12.89, US$ 11.6, € 9.67) for Fast Boats/Crafts. Travel Time is about 5-6 hours for the slow boats and 2-3 hours for the fast boat.
  • Then walk to Baybay Transportation Terminal.
  • At the terminal, ride a VAN/BUS bound for Ormoc. Fare is PHP 200.00 – PHP 350.00 ( SGD$ 5.00 ,US$ 4.0, € 3.33) – ( SGD$ 8.75 ,US$ 7.0, € 5.83) . Travel time is about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • Once you reached Ormoc Terminal, ride a jeepney/multicab bound for Lake Danao. Be sure to inform the driver that you will hop off at Mico’s Eco Park. Fare is PHP 30 ( SGD$ 0.75 ,US$ 0.6, € 0.5). Travel time is about 20 minutes.
  • Note: There is tarpaulin signage at Mico’s Eco Park.

Entry Point is in CEBU PIER 3 or PIER 1 via ORMOC .

  • From Pier 1, ride the Slow Boat bound (Cokaliong Shipping Lines, Inc. and Roble Shipping Lines, Inc) or From Pier 3, ride the Fast Craft (Oceanjet or 2Go) for Ormoc. Fare is about PHP 320.00 ( SGD$ 8, US$ 6.4, € 5.33) for Slow Boats and PHP 520.00 ( SGD$ 13, US$ 10.4, € 8.67) for Fast Boats/Crafts. Travel Time is about 5-6 hours for the slow boats and 2-3 hours for the fast boat.
  • From the port, walk to Ormoc City Terminal near the Ormoc Public Market/2go Express ticketing.

OPTION 5 (BY AIRPLANE & BUS/VAN) (From Cebu or Manila)

  • There are actually daily flights from Manila to Tacloban and Cebu to Tacloban. The flight takes at least an hour and twenty (20) minutes if your entry point is Manila. Air travel takes about forty-five (45) minutes or less if your entry point is Cebu.
  • After arriving at Tacloban Domestic Airport (San Jose, Tacloban City), go to Tacloban City Bus Terminal via taxicab or transfer service. 
  • From Tacloban City Bus Terminal, one can easily go to the Ormoc by taking a three-hour bus or van ride bound for Ormoc.
  • Once you reached Ormoc Terminal, ride a jeepney/multicab bound for Lake Danao. Be sure to inform the driver that you will hop off at Mico’s Eco Park. Fare is PHP 30 ( SGD$ 0.75 ,US$ 0.6, € 0.5). Travel time is about 20 minutes.

What’s in Mico’s Eco Park Ormoc?

Mico’s Eco Park Ormoc is located in Lake Danao Road, Ormoc, City, Leyte. It is surrounded by mountains and lush greenery which is a really good stress reliever and a break from city life.

The road to Mico’s Eco Park is cemented so it is easily accessible by any vehicle. It is approximately 14 kilometers away from the city proper. You can also find the famous Miracle View because they are beside each other.

You can easily locate the area because it is just beside the road and medium-sized signage is clearly visible at the roadside. You will not get lost, mind you.

You can feel the cool breeze of air as you are nearing the place.
