White island is particularly small and can be easily erased during high tides. It is located at the town of Mambajao. Those who visit Camiguin wouldn’t want to miss this place and cross the blue seawater to visit this beautiful white sand bar.Plus it is just a short boat-ride from the white island port.

NAVIGATING AROUND CAMIGUIN
✓ By Habal-Habal or known as Motorcycle
1.For short distance ride, it will costs you around Php 10 or $0.2. For long distance ride, like camiguin white island to ardent hot spring, will costs you around Php 200 or $4.
2.Much better if you can drive it yourself. It will costs around Php 400 or $8 per day.
3.If you want to rent the motorcycle with a driver then this will costs you around Php 800 or $16 per day.

The best months to visit the Camiguin is on February to June and October because those months have a greater chance of catching sunny days.

TRAVEL GUIDE TO WHITE ISLAND
As they say, the early-bird catches the most beautiful sunrise.
It took us a total of 5 minutes to walk from our resort to the terminal of White Island. I have noticed that Souvenir shops are present in the area. There are also a lot of food stall with small sitting area in the vicinity and the foods are cheap.
It is not crowded during our visit. I think it is primarily because of the previously finished Lanzones Festival.
The above center-left of the picture shows the terminal. That is where you will buy the tickets.
En route to White Island.It is a 10 minute-ish ride to the island.
The white island will great you with a weather that will surely sting the hell out of you (depends mainly on the time of your arrival and weather).
PROs and CONs in White Island
Pros:
-Boat trip starts at 4:30am and ends at 5:00 pm, and its advisable to
come at that time before sunrise or during sunset.
It has daily boat trip that is regular through out
the day.
-Life Jackets for rent are available in the area.
-Amazing sunrise view
-Beach umbrellas are available to rent. Just ask your boatmen!
-There are vendors in the island that sells fresh Sea Urchin with sauce.
Cons:
-High start mostly starts around 9am.
-It can be hot when the sun is up due to no greens present in the island.
-There is nothing in the island, just white sand.
