Travel Guide to Walkway to the Old Volcano of Camiguin, Philippines
The Walkway to the Old Volcano and Stations of the Cross are laid out in a stairway ascending all the way up to the top where the old volcano is located. A concrete stairway will greet you firsthand and the rest of the steps are sandy.
It is a steep climb although the stairway is shaded by big trees. This is only recommended for fit people as it can prove strenuous for others particularly to senior citizens.

TRAVEL GUIDE TO THE WALKWAY TO THE OLD VOLCANO
This tourist spot is a hike up a moderately steep hill. Along the way, dioramas depicting the crucifixion of Christ in full color can be seen. There were 14 “stations” (as they are called), each depicting the various stages from carrying of the cross, the crucifixion, the burial, and finally the resurrection.
Even if you aren’t particularly religious or not Christian, the hike is still a pleasant one, if not exerting. But our whole group made it to the end.
We hike up and down this attraction for about an hour.
DO’S
-Bring some water.
-Extra t-shirt and towel is needed.
-Be sure to put some sunblock.
-Don’t bring any heavy weight materials.
The above photo is the finish line. It offers great views but only on one side, the other side is obstructed by the hill. You can see clearly the Sunken Cemetery at the top.
