HOW TO GET TO Basilica del Santo Nino

OPTION 1

Entry Point is in Mactan Cebu Airport.

Ride a Mybus from Mactan Cebu to SM Cebu City. Fare is around  40 PHP  ( SGD$ 1 ,US$ 0.8, € 0.7). Travel time is around 30mins to 1 hr

Then, Ride a jeep with a route code 12I or 10M . Hop off at Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral. Fare is around 8 PHP  ( SGD$ 0.2 ,US$0.16, € 0.13). Travel time is around 10mins to 30mins (depends on the traffic).

Then, walk to Basilica del Santo Nino. It is a walking distance from where you hop off. Just ask the vendors on where exactly it is or just use google maps.

OPTION 2

Entry Point is Pier 1 Cebu.

Use google maps. Point it to Santo Nino and you will see that it is very near. A 5 – 10 minutes walk.

OPTION 3

Taxi!!! Although it is expensive, it gives you the convenience and it is a much faster way to go to the locations (if time is not on your side).

The first mass is 5:30 am and the last is around 7:30 pm most days so it is safe to say that the church opens around 5am and closes at 9pm to give time to people to come and leave.

Best time to visit is on weekdays to avoid crowd.

What should I wear in the Church?

For women, you must wear below knee-length skirts or smart casual attires.

For men, you must wear pants or jeans and a decent shirt
