  • Then, ride a VAN/BUS bound for Matalom/Maasin. Be sure to inform the driver that you will hop off at Kan-anan sa Superball. Fare is PHP 110.00 – PHP 280.00 ( SGD$ 2.75 ,US$ 2.2, € 1.83) – ( SGD$ 7.00 ,US$ 5.6, € 4.67) . Travel time is about 2 hours and 40 minutes.
  • Please note that the Kan-anan sa Superball is just beside the national road and Pagatpat Seafood so you don’t need to ride anything after hopping off the bus or van.

OPTION 2 (BY BOAT W/ BUS/VAN)

Entry Point is in CEBU PIER 4 via HILONGOS.

Fare is about PHP 310.00 ( SGD$ 6.89, US$ 6.2, € 5.17) – PHP 2,000.00 ( SGD$ 44.45, US$ 40, € 33.33) for Slow Boats and PHP 550.00 ( SGD$ 12.23, US$ 11, € 9.17) for Fast Boats/Crafts. Travel Time is about 5-6 hours for the slow boats and 2-3 hours for the fast boat.
  • Then walk or ride a motorcycle to Hilongos Public Terminal.
  • At the Market, ride a bus/van or tricycle or motorcycle to Kan-anan sa Superball and inform them to wait for you. Travel Time is about 22 minutes.

  • Note: You can arrange for your motorcycle driver to wait for you so that you won’t have a hard time going out of the area.

OPTION 5 (BY AIRPLANE & BUS/VAN) (From Cebu or Manila)

  • There are actually daily flights from Manila to Tacloban and Cebu to Tacloban. The flight takes at least an hour and twenty (20) minutes if your entry point is Manila. Air travel takes about forty-five (45) minutes or less if your entry point is Cebu.
  • After arriving at Tacloban Domestic Airport (San Jose, Tacloban City), go to Tacloban City Bus Terminal via taxicab or transfer service. 
  • From Tacloban City Bus Terminal, one can easily go to the Kan-anan sa Superball by taking a three-hour bus or van ride bound for Hilongos/Maasin/Bato. Tell the driver to drop you off at Kan-anan sa Superball. 
  • From the highway, you can either walk for about 300 meters or just hire a motorcycle or tricycle to get to the destination.

Kan-anan sa Superball is located in Sta Fe, Matalom, Leyte. It is a place where you can spend your afternoon chilling in a floating cottage while sipping your cold/hot drink

The place is just located beside the national highway so it is very accessible to anyone. It is approximately 111 kilometers away from Hilongos Public Market.

The restaurant is made of bamboo and is built over the water, so you always have the feeling of “sitting or floating” on the water. You look over the big ocean, see the small island of Canigao.

The restaurant caters to seafood lovers. They have a variety of boodle sets.

They have around 7 huts that can accommodate more or less 10 people each, and then 2 big huts, good for more or less 30 people each, for special occasions such as birthdays and gatherings.

If you get lucky enough to be there during a high tide, you are welcome to take a dip on the inviting water (though near a residential area).

Their service is great, with accommodating and friendly staff. They also brought other food like cake and ice cream if you will be celebrating a birthday lunch/dinner there. No corkage fee will be charged.
