OPTION 1 (BY VAN)

Entry Point is in ORMOC PORT.

  • From the port, walk to Ormoc City Terminal near the Ormoc Public Market/2go Express ticketing.
  • Then, ride a VAN bound for Bato/Maasin. Be sure to inform the driver that you will hop off at La Felomina Seafood Grill (this is just at the side of the road). Fare is PHP 110.00 – PHP 280.00 ( SGD$ 2.75 ,US$ 2.2, € 1.83) – ( SGD$ 7.00 ,US$ 5.6, € 4.67) . Travel time is about 2 hours and 40 minutes.

OPTION 2 (BY BOAT)

Entry Point is in CEBU PIER 4 via HILONGOS.

CHECK BOAT SCHEDULE AND FARE HERE

  • From Pier 4, ride the Slow Boats (Roble Shipping Lines or Gabisan Lines) & Fast Boat bound for Hilongos. Fare is about PHP 320.00 ( SGD$ 8, US$ 6.4, € 5.33) for Slow Boats and PHP 520.00 ( SGD$ 13, US$ 10.4, € 8.67) for Fast Boats/Crafts. Travel Time is about 5-6 hours for the slow boats and 2-3 hours for the fast boat.
  • Then walk or ride a motorcycle to Hilongos Public Market.
  • At the Market, ride a tricycle, van, bus, or motorcycle to La Felomina Seafood Grill.

OPTION 3 (BY BOAT W/ BUS/VAN)

Entry Point is in CEBU PIER 4 via BAYBAY.

CHECK FAST CRAFT SCHEDULE & FARE HERE

  • From Pier 4, ride the Slow Boats (RORO Ferries) & Fast Boat (MV Superjoy) bound for Hilongos. Fare is about PHP 310.00 ( SGD$ 6.89, US$ 6.2, € 5.17) – PHP 2,000.00 ( SGD$ 44.45, US$ 40, € 33.33) for Slow Boats and PHP 580.00 ( SGD$ 12.89, US$ 11.6, € 9.67) for Fast Boats/Crafts. Travel Time is about 5-6 hours for the slow boats and 2-3 hours for the fast boat.
  • Then walk to Baybay Transportation Terminal.
  • At the Terminal, ride a VAN/BUS to Matalom/Maasin. Fare is about PHP 200.00 ( SGD$ 4.45, US$ 4.0, € 3.33)
  • Please note that the La Felomina Seafood Grill is just beside the highway so you don’t need to ride anything after hopping off the bus or van.

  • Wait for any bus/van in the area or ride a habal-habal/motorcycle.

OPTION 5 (BY AIRPLANE & BUS/VAN) (From Cebu or Manila)

  • There are actually daily flights from Manila to Tacloban and Cebu to Tacloban. The flight takes at least an hour and twenty (20) minutes if your entry point is Manila. Air travel takes about forty-five (45) minutes or less if your entry point is Cebu.
  • After arriving at Tacloban Domestic Airport (San Jose, Tacloban City), go to Tacloban City Bus Terminal via taxicab or transfer service. 
  • From Tacloban City Bus Terminal, one can easily go to the La Felomina Seafood Grill by taking a three-hour bus or van ride bound for Hilongos/Maasin/Bato. Tell the driver to drop you off at La Felomina Seafood Grill. 
  • From the highway, you can either walk for about 300 meters or just hire a motorcycle or tricycle to get to the destination.

The road to La Felomina is cemented so it is easily accessible by any kind of vehicle. It is approximately 92.5 kilometers away from Ormoc City Port.

The owner of the Grill started their business in 2017 with one goal in mind: providing an enjoyable dining experience to the Leyteños and visitors. Thanks to their experience and dedication they’ve managed to become masters of the craft. Serving locally fresh catch seafood and more, that are made simple and unforgettable.

We tried their Boodle feast and it is surprisingly abundant considering that the price is very affordable. It has Calamares, Pork, Fish, Scallops, Sinigang Fish, Rice, Pineapple, Crab, Prawn, and Shellfish. It is very delicious and will make you come back for more.

Overall, the restaurant’s foods are affordable and delicious. The ambiance is refreshing and it is very calming since it is located just beside the sea. You can also spot the Bato’s latest attraction,
