✓ OPTION 1 (BY VAN/BUS)

Entry Point is in ORMOC PORT.

CHECK FAST CRAFT SCHEDULE & FARE HERE

From the port, walk to Ormoc City Terminal near the Ormoc Public Market/2go Express ticketing.
Then, ride a VAN/BUS bound for Tacloban/Carigara. Be sure to inform the driver that you will hop off at Kananga or Leyte Rainbow Farm and Mountain Resort. Fare is PHP 90.00 – PHP 150.00 ( SGD$ 2.25 ,US$ 1.8, € 1.5) – ( SGD$ 3.75 ,US$ 3.00, € 2.5) . Travel time is about 40 minutes.
Please note that the Leyte Rainbow Farm and Mountain Resort is just beside the national road so you don’t need to ride anything after hopping off the bus or van. From the highway, walk for about 800 meters to reach it.
NOTE: I did not suggest that you hop off at Kananga because you need to ride a motorcycle to reach the Resort if you go by this route.

Note: You can arrange for your motorcycle driver to wait for you so that you won’t have a hard time going out of the area.

✓ OPTION 2 (BY BOAT W/ BUS/VAN)

Entry Point is in CEBU PIER 4 via HILONGOS.

From Pier 4, ride the Slow Boats (Roble Shipping Lines or Gabisan Lines) & Fast Boat (MV Superjoy) bound for Hilongos. Fare is about PHP 310.00 ( SGD$ 6.89, US$ 6.2, € 5.17) – PHP 2,000.00 ( SGD$ 44.45, US$ 40, € 33.33) for Slow Boats and PHP 550.00 ( SGD$ 12.23, US$ 11, € 9.17) for Fast Boats/Crafts. Travel Time is about 5-6 hours for the slow boats and 2-3 hours for the fast boat.
Then walk or ride a motorcycle to Hilongos Public Terminal.
At the Market, ride a bus/van to Ormoc City. Travel Time is about 2 hours.

Then walk to Baybay Transportation Terminal.
At the Terminal, ride a VAN/BUS to Ormoc City Terminal. Fare is about PHP 200.00 ( SGD$ 4.45, US$ 4.0, € 3.33)
When in Ormoc Terminal, ride a VAN/BUS bound for Isabel. Be sure to inform the driver that you will hop off at Leyte Rainbow Farm and Mountain Resort. Fare is PHP 90.00 – PHP 150.00 ( SGD$ 2.25 ,US$ 1.8, € 1.5) – ( SGD$ 3.75 ,US$ 3.00, € 2.5) . Travel time is about 40 minutes.

✓ OPTION 5 (BY AIRPLANE & BUS/VAN) (From Cebu or Manila)

There are actually daily flights from Manila to Tacloban and Cebu to Tacloban. The flight takes at least an hour and twenty (20) minutes if your entry point is Manila. Air travel takes about forty-five (45) minutes or less if your entry point is Cebu.
After arriving at Tacloban Domestic Airport (San Jose, Tacloban City), go to Tacloban City Bus Terminal via taxicab or transfer service.
From Tacloban City Bus Terminal, one can easily go to the Leyte Rainbow Farm and Mountain Resort by taking a ONE-hour bus or van ride bound for Kananga. Tell the driver to drop you off at Leyte Rainbow Farm and Mountain Resort.
From the highway, you can either walk for about 800 meters or just hire a motorcycle or tricycle to get to the destination.

What’s in Leyte Rainbow Farm and Mountain Resort?

LEYTE RAINBOW FARM AND MOUNTAIN RESORT is located in Sitio Suerte, Brgy. Natubgan, Kananga, Leyte near Hermittage Shrine, Kananga, Leyte. It is a place where you can spend your afternoon chilling in a pool away from the busy city life.

Before it became a resort, it was planted with sugarcane. Due to its unique landscape, the owner decided to make it a mountain resort.

The Resort came up with the name Leyte Rainbow Mountain Resort as the rainbow is always visible at the resort during an afternoon rain.

The place is just located beside the national highway so it is very accessible to anyone. It is approximately 4.8 kilometers away from Kananga Proper

They have several huts that can accommodate more or less 5people each, and then 4 big huts, good for more or less 10-20 people each, for special occasions such as birthdays and gatherings.

You will spend around 50 minutes – 1 hour and 30minutes in this place.

Are food and drinks available in the area?

Yes!

What I love about the place is that they have their own Samgyeopsal. They offer an UNLIMITED SAMGYEOPSAL for PHP 300.00.
