✓ By Bus. You can the bus with a sign board “Bato-Barili via Moalboal”. Just tell the driver you will be hoping off at Alegria Heritage Park. Sun Xi can provide a free shuttle from Heritage Park, Alegria to Sun Xi Mountain Retreat.

The best months to visit the mountain resort is on February to June because it is a month with sunny weather.

✓ Google Map App – A life-saver for me because without it, I might get lost.
✓ Google Translate – Super powerful app. Translate anything.
✓ Sunscreen – Protect yourself from sunburn or much worse – Cancer.
✓ Pocket Wifi or Sim Card – The convenient of searching anything is a go-to. Please don’t forget this baby. It is a life-saver for me though.
SUN XI MOUNTAIN RETREAT
Sun Xi Mountain Retreat is approximately a 30-minute ride from the town of Alegria, Cebu. Despite it being far from the town’s main, the amazing scenery will be worth the ride. The route in going to the place is not that glamorous. You will pass some houses. You will see a view of the blue ocean and enjoy the breathtaking natural light from the sun. (I hope it does not rain though).

The above photo shows the house where we have stayed. It looks super simple on the outside. Take a step into the room and you will experience a whole lot of should be rated 5 stars room. I rate it 5 stars because the place is so glamorous and it is located far from the city. I did not expect it to be that great and plus the price is not that expensive.
They also have a small balcony with a minimalist swing. It is made with wood materials. It is so nice to spend the day here.It is so peaceful and when you do talk, I bet your neighbors will hear you.
View from our room to the restaurant is sooooo breathtaking. Isn’t it? See it for yourself.
THE RESTAURANT
They call it “Glamping” meaning Glamorous Camping. It is indeed true. The facilities is glamorous while it is an eco-friendly home. In every guest room 24 hour electricity and room service, luxuriously appointed comfort rooms with hot showers. Air-con is not present because it is very cold at night making air-con a non priority. Internet is present in their restaurant with mini bar. They also have darts and billiard inside the restaurant.

They have develop the pretty and rich natural resources of the environment in the mountain of Alegria. The peace and tranquility is very present. Throughout the day you can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the gardens, surrounding farm-lands and magnificent 360 “heaven on earth” scenery. If you want to disconnect, this place is best for you too.

They also have a mini swing, trampoline and see-saw. A stone-made hole that gives a 16th century vibe is present in the area. They have 5 available rooms with corresponding number of persons allowed.
Services like canyoneering , hiking, diving and many more are offered by the owners. Just ask them.
P.S. I was sick at day 2 of our stay and we told the staff if they have some medicines. Few minutes later, they brought something to help me relieve my sore throat.
