Tips for Public Transports

Public transport consists of local buses, jeepneys, and tricycle motorcycles.

a). The local bus (Minibus) services are not a reliable transport service as they run from the city to their destination when they have a full or very near full bus load and return to the city under the same condition.

b). Jeepneys are reliable as they keep running their routes allowing you to hop on or off as required for a very economical cost. Jeepneys allow for a good view and conversations with locals to further your local experiences.

c). Tricycle motorcycles are the most reliable as you hire them for the journey. Most tricycle motorcycle drivers are very knowledgeable and willing to share local knowledge and advice and are also very eager to answer your questions and personally ensure you are well looked after.

Finally, most hotels have arrangements with local tour providers and can arrange multi-destination local tours at a moderate cost.
