Cebu Sirao Garden : How to Get There
WHAT'S IN THIS GUIDE?
Sirao, a place in Cebu known for its colorful arrangement of flowers that blooms around the late months and early months of Cebu.
It is also known as Mini-Little Amsterdam of Cebu is situated in a mountain barangay of Cebu City, about 30-45 minutes away from JY Square in Lahug.
HOW TO GET THERE
OPTION 1
Entry Point is in Mactan Cebu Airport.
Ride a Mybus from Mactan Cebu to SM Cebu City. Fare is around 40 PHP ( SGD$ 1 ,$0.8, € 0.7). Travel time is around 30mins to 1 hr.
Then, Ride a jeep with a route code 04L. Stop at JY Square Mall. Fare is around 8 PHP ( SGD$ 0.2 ,$0.16, € 0.14). Travel time is around 20mins to 45mins (depends on the traffic).
Then, ride a Habal-Habal (local term of a motorcycle for hire). You can easily locate the Habal-Habal drivers because they are shouting Sirao or Temple of Leah. Or in my case they will ask you.
OPTION 2
Entry Point is Pier 1 Cebu.
Then, Ride a jeep with a route code 02B. Stop at Colonnade Mall. Fare is around 8 PHP ( SGD$ 0.2 ,$0.16, € 0.14) . Travel time is around 15mins to 30mins (depends on the traffic).
After that, you can ride a jeepney with route codes 17B, 17C, 17D, 04H, and 04C. Fare is around 8 PHP ( SGD$ 0.2 ,$0.16, € 0.14). Travel time is around 30mins to 45mins (depends on the traffic).
Stop at JY Square Mall. Be sure to tell the conductor of the jeep or the driver.

OPTION 3
Exact Location: Brgy. Sirao, Cebu City.
Taxi!!! Although it is expensive, it gives you the convenience and it is a much faster way to go to the locations (if time is not on your side).

Also, you can negotiate the price to 80 PHP ( SGD$ 2 ,$1.6, € 1.3)/person (one- way tour) going to Sirao and additional fare of 25 PHP ( SGD$ 0.63 ,$0.5, € 0.42)/person for a side trip going to Temple of Leah.
Although every option has its perks and disadvantages, the Option 1 and Option 2 is my go-to.

WHAT DOES SIRAO GARDEN LOOKS LIKE?
It is the famous “Sirao Flower Farm” located in a mountain barangay just few minutes from JY, Lahug, Cebu City.
It all started when a couple planted flowering plants to be harvested and sold on All Soul’s Day.
They then noticed that their garden is attracting visitors so they decided not to cut them at all.
It is a garden full of flowers. It has a colorful and joyful vibe spreading in the area.
ARE FOOD AND DRINKS AVAILABLE IN THE AREA?
Yes, it is. Some Filipino must- eat foods or rather Cebu specialties are sold in the area.

HOW MUCH IS THE ENTRANCE FEE?
Entrance fee (Flower garden only): 50 PHP (SGD$ 1.25 ,$1, € 0.83) per guest, 150 PHP (SGD$ 3.75 ,$ 3, € 2.5) for professional photography.
OPENING AND CLOSING TIME?
Operating time: 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM for all visitors; 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM for campers.
BEST MONTH TO VISIT?
The best months to visit the flower farm where most of the flowers are in full bloom are the months of November, December and January.
TIPS, NOTES AND REMINDERS
- Bring extra clothes so that in every corner, the outfit is different.
- Visit on weekdays to avoid the crowd.
- Bring water so that you can’t be dehydrated.
- Sharp Object and Firearms are prohibited.
