OPTION 1 (BY JEEPNEY/MULTICAB)

Entry Point is in ORMOC PORT.

  • From the port, walk to Ormoc City Terminal near the Ormoc Public Market/2go Express ticketing.
  • Then, ride a jeepney/multicab bound for Albuera. Be sure to inform the driver that you will hop off at BAYBAYON NI AGALON. Fare is PHP 30 ( SGD$ 0.75 ,US$ 0.6, € 0.5).
  • Note: There is tarpaulin signage at BAYBAYON NI AGALON .

  • Wait for a jeepney/multicab in the area or ride a habal-habal.
  • Note: Multi-cabs are available for a certain period of time so you can wait for multi-cabs.

OPTION 2 (BY BOAT W/ BUS/VAN)

Entry Point is in CEBU PIER 4 via HILONGOS

  • From Pier 4, ride the Slow Boats (Roble Shipping Lines or Gabisan Lines) & Fast Boat (MV Superjoy) bound for Hilongos. Fare is about PHP 310.00 ( SGD$ 6.89, US$ 6.2, € 5.17) – PHP 2,000.00 ( SGD$ 44.45, US$ 40, € 33.33) for Slow Boats and PHP 550.00 ( SGD$ 12.23, US$ 11, € 9.17) for Fast Boats/Crafts. Travel Time is about 5-6 hours for the slow boats and 2-3 hours for the fast boat.
  • Then walk or ride a motorcycle to Hilongos Public Terminal.
  • At the Market/Terminal, ride a bus/van to Ormoc/Albuera. Travel Time is about 2 hours and 30 minutes. Fare is PHP 200.00 – PHP 350.00 ( SGD$ 5.00 ,US$ 4.0, € 3.33) – ( SGD$ 8.75 ,US$ 7.0, € 5.83).
  • Be sure to inform the driver that you will hop off at BAYBAYON NI AGALON. Fare is PHP 30 ( SGD$ 0.75 ,US$ 0.6, € 0.5). Travel time is about 20 minutes.

OPTION 5 (BY AIRPLANE & BUS/VAN) (From Cebu or Manila)

  • There are actually daily flights from Manila to Tacloban and Cebu to Tacloban. The flight takes at least an hour and twenty (20) minutes if your entry point is Manila. Air travel takes about forty-five (45) minutes or less if your entry point is Cebu.
  • After arriving at Tacloban Domestic Airport (San Jose, Tacloban City), go to Tacloban City Bus Terminal via taxicab or transfer service. 
  • From Tacloban City Bus Terminal, one can easily go to the Ormoc by taking a three-hour bus or van ride bound for Ormoc.
  • Once you reached Ormoc Terminal, ride a jeepney/multicab bound for Albuera. Be sure to inform the driver that you will hop off at BAYBAYON NI AGALON. Fare is PHP 30 ( SGD$ 0.75 ,US$ 0.6, € 0.5). Travel time is about 20 minutes.

Baybayon ni Agalon Albuera Leyte

BAYBAYON NI AGALON is located in Malitbog, Albuera, Leyte. It has a swimming pool and a beach. The resort is just ahead the famous beach in ormoc tourist spots – Sabin Resort Hotel.

The expansive grass at Baybayon ni Agalon is beautifully planted and ideal for sunny family picnics. Beautiful kiosks with thatched straw roofs are properly spaced out and provide sitting and shade.

There is a sizable freshwater koi pond with kiosk islands just at the entrance and by the pool. The majority of the food served in a restaurant is Filipino, but customers are welcome to bring their own food without paying for corkage.

A kind of fish called the gara rufa fish lives and reproduces in the pools of several Turkish river systems and hot springs. They are now included in contemporary spa treatments, where they feast on clients’ dead skin (exfoliation).
