Entry Point is in ORMOC PORT.
- From the port, walk to Ormoc City Terminal near the Ormoc Public Market/2go Express ticketing.
- Then, ride a jeepney/multicab bound for Brgy. Dolores. Be sure to inform the driver that you will hop off at 88 Cafe. This cafe is located very close to Highlands Restaurant. You can see its signage on the road as you drive by. The fare is around PHP 30 ( SGD$ 0.75, US$ 0.6, € 0.5).

- Wait for a jeepney/multicab in the area or ride a habal-habal.

88 Cafe Ormoc is a hidden gem in Ormoc City. Located in a peaceful and scenic area, the cafe is a great place to relax and connect with nature. The cafe has a large outdoor patio with plenty of seating, perfect for people-watching or enjoying a cup of coffee and a meal.
The cafe is accessible by any vehicle, but the access road is a bit daunting. You’ll descend a steep slope and the road narrows to one-way traffic for a short distance. The parking lot can accommodate up to 15-20 cars.
The cafe’s menu features a variety of coffee drinks and silog meals for now. The coffee is roasted in-house.
I also heard that the owner of this cafe is the same person who owns Highlands Restaurant. And Highlands is just a few meters away from this cafe.

I ordered a matcha frappe here, but it was too sweet for my liking. I could taste the sugar crystals as I was drinking it. I would prefer it if you used syrup instead of sugar next time.
Although, it really is indeed a very good place to chill, study, and be at peace at your own pace.
