β OPTION 1 (BY JEEPNEY)
Entry Point is at TACLOBAN AIRPORT.
- From the airport, take a motorcycle cab to Tacloban City New Bus Terminal. Fare is about PHP 8 ( SGD 0.2 ,$0.15, β¬ 0.12) .
- Then, ride a jeepney/bus bound for Sta. Rita Samar. Be sure to inform the driver that you will hop off at San Juan by The Bay Floating Cottages and Boardwalk. Fare is PHP 30 ( SGD$ 0.75 ,US$ 0.6, β¬ 0.5).
- At the corner going to San Juan by The Bay Floating Cottages and Boardwalk, ride a habal-habal or motorcycle to take you to the Floating Cottages. Ask the habal-habal or motorcycle driver to fetch you at your agreed homeward-bound time and take you to bus/van terminal or jeepney going to tacloban. The fare for the habal-habal is PHP 100 ( SGD$ 2.5 ,US$ 2, β¬ 1.7) per person for two-way. Note: You’ll have to patiently wait there to board a Habal-Habal or Motorcycle.

Entry Point is TACLOBAN AIRPORT.
- From the airport, take a motorcyle cab to the Van-Van Downtown Terminal located at P. Burgos Street. Fare is about PHP 8 ( SGD 0.2 ,$0.15, β¬ 0.12) .
- Then, ride a van bound for Sta. Rita Samar. Be sure to inform the driver that you will hop off at San Juan by The Bay Floating Cottages and Boardwalk. Fare is PHP 30 ( SGD$ 0.75 ,US$ 0.6, β¬ 0.5).
- At the corner going to San Juan by The Bay Floating Cottages and Boardwalk, ride a habal-habal or motorcycle to take you to the Floating Cottages. Entry Point is in CEBU PIER 3 or PIER 1 via ORMOC .

- From Pier 1, ride the Slow Boat bound (Cokaliong Shipping Lines, Inc. and Roble Shipping Lines, Inc) or From Pier 3, ride the Fast Craft (Oceanjet or 2Go) for Ormoc. Fare is about PHP 500.00 ( SGD$ 12.5, US$ 10, β¬ 8.33) for Slow Boats and PHP 1100.00 ( SGD$ 27.5, US$ 22, β¬ 18.33) for Fast Boats/Crafts. Travel Time is about 5-6 hours for the slow boats and 2-3 hours for the fast boat.
- From the port, walk to Ormoc City Terminal near the Ormoc Public Market/2go Express ticketing.
- Then, ride a jeepney/multicab/van bound for Tacloban Terminal.
- At Tacloban Terminal, ride a jeepney/bus bound for Sta. Rita Samar. Be sure to inform the driver that you will hop off at San Juan by The Bay Floating Cottages and Boardwalk. Fare is PHP 30 ( SGD$ 0.75 ,US$ 0.6, β¬ 0.5).

β OPTION 4 (BY AIRPLANE & BUS/VAN) (From Cebu or Manila)
- There are actually daily flights from Manila to Tacloban and Cebu to Tacloban. The flight takes at least an hour and twenty (20) minutes if your entry point is Manila. Air travel takes about forty-five (45) minutes or less if your entry point is Cebu.
- After arriving at Tacloban Domestic Airport (San Jose, Tacloban City), go to Tacloban City Bus Terminal via taxicab or transfer service.
- From Tacloban City Bus Terminal, one can easily go to San Juan by The Bay Floating Cottages and Boardwalk by taking a one-hour bus or van ride bound for Sta. Rita Samar.

Yes. They hardly accept walk-ins so make sure you book first. Mostly the seating availability is scarce and is at full capacity.

1. SUNSET WATCHING
What a beautiful way to end your day watching the sunset while eating your favorite seafood dishes!
2. FLOATING COTTAGE
In going to the restaurant, you will need to walk on the boardwalk but going back, the floating cottage will take you back. An exciting adventure awaits you!
3. CHILL BY THE BEACH
The place is very huge. Hence, you can feel the fresh air and the place is indeed relaxing. It is not overly decorated and each establishment is spacious enough.
4. WATCH THE SAN JUANICO LIGHTS SHOW
This is a perfect spot to watch the San Juanico Light Show at night.
5. SWIM
You can actually swim here as they have cottages with allowed places for swimming.
6. KAYAK
Sporty? This might be the best beach activity for yah! Just prepare your hands for paddling!
