REGISTRATION BUILDING (TRAIL HEAD)
Speaking of registration, you need to register you name and the time of your visit, as well as to pay the 30 pesos entrance fee before you can proceed. The registration area is also where some keepsake items/ souvenirs are sold.
OUR CLIMBING BEGINS!
After taking pictures near the entrance, a kid approached us asking if we needed a guide. We answered again in unison saying “No, we can handle ourselves”. Deep inside I feel like I can’t handle it because my friends said that the hiking took almost 40 mins.
We trekked with our own pace. The weather was a bit sunny.
Of course, I brought an umbrella.
I took some more pictures when we feel like it’s instagrammable (oh millennials!)
I saw someone with a wood cane. Maybe, it serves as their support in trekking uphill.
OVERNIGHT CAMPING IS ALLOWED
I also saw a tent standing still in a slanted portion of the mountain. I was so afraid for them because the wind blew oh so hard that they might flew right out of sight.
For a total of 20-30 minutes, I arrived at the peak together with my friends.

RCFX+28 Badian, Cebu is the code in Google Maps for the location of Osmeña Peak. Is this true? That Osmeña Peak is located in Badian and not in Dalaguete? If not then Google Maps is wrong and peddling fake info. The local tourism office that gave out the official receipt for the fee in the climb must be the rightful LGU of Osmeña Peak. Do you recall which is which? I haven’t been to the place but I’m planning. Nice blog btw. TIA 🙂
